Butte Bouldering Bash

About the event

An outdoor climbing festival at the Trailer Boulders, benefiting the Southwest Montana Climbers Coalition and presented by Spire Climbing + Fitness. Registration covers the whole day:

• Bouldering in Superbia, The Druthers and the Trailer Boulders — over 350 problems to explore and climb
• Bouldering competition, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Dinner, festival T-shirt and a raffle ticket
• Evening presentations starting at sundown
• Food, fun and community

Before you start

Everyone climbing needs a signed liability waiver. One adult can sign for themselves and for any children in their group on a single waiver, so register your whole family in one pass rather than one at a time.

Have each child's date of birth handy. The waiver asks for it.

Bring

Crash pad, water, layers, a headlamp for the evening

Directions

From I-90 take the Pipestone exit (241, east side of Homestake Pass) to Delmoe Lake Road. Go north about 3.8 miles, then turn right into the camping area. If you reach the “4 Corners” bathrooms you've gone too far.
